Summer Day Camp Registration

Updated: Jun 28, 2021

WCAS will soon be opening our doors to the general public for our summer day camps!

We do give priority to our currently registered families and, we will open our remaining spaces to families from the general public on a first come, first serve basis starting on May 7th, 2021.

Spaces will be confirmed in the order in which they were received. If your chosen facility is already at its maximum capacity, your child may be offered a spot at another facility, space permitting. Once your child’s spot has been confirmed payment in the form of a cheque (made payable to “WCAS”) will be due for the weeks you have registered your child. Please provide separate post-dated cheques for the months of July and August no later than 1 week after receiving confirmation of your child’s spot from the Administrative Childcare Coordinator or facility TC's.

The WCAS facilities that will be open for care during the Summer months are:

Playwest Kids located within Tweedsmuir Elementary School (Dragons & Play West combined)

Kids Korner located within Qayqayt Elementary School (Klub Kelvin & Kids Korner combined)

Griffins Alley located within Glenbrook Middle School (Misty Meadows & Griffins Alley combined)

Park Place located within the Hume Park Home Learners School (Hilltop Hideaway & Park Place combined)

QE Clubhouse located on the grounds of Queensborough Middle School (QE Clubhouse & Kids Borough combined)

Fees for summer care are $55 per day/per child or $225 per week/per child, depending on your care needs.

Our current COVID 19 Health and Safety policies, procedures, and protocols will be in full effect for the duration of our Summer programming. Changes to these may be necessary and made at any time, based on the Public Health and Safety guidance recommendations. Our plans for field trips and activities this Summer will be limited to outdoor type venues and local places within our community that are within walking distance. We will not be taking public transit. Any field trips involving transportation will be done via Yellow School Buses. We will continue to monitor the recommended Health and Safety measures and may adjust our schedules and activities accordingly.

If you are interested in having your child join us for a summer filled with fun, adventure, new experiences and impeccable care, please feel free to fill out our waitlist form under the "contact us" tab. Please indicate that you are interested in summer care in the subject line and we will contact you as soon as a space becomes available with the necessary registration package.
